Made from titanium and coloured, lampworked borosilicate glass the 'U' Ring is a distillation of elements of Blanche Tilden's highly sought after exhibition work which is held in public collections in Australia and overseas.

Born in 1968, Blanche began making glass and metal jewellery in 1988, at Sydney College of the Arts. She transferred the the prestigious Canberra School of Art in 1990, and completed undergraduate studies in 1992, followed by complete postgraduate training. In 1995 she moved to Melbourne to work with reknown jeweller Susan Cohn. Although a frequent international traveller, Melbourne has remained Blanche's base since then.

As her practice has grown, Blanche has developed an international exhibition profile and has a strong following for her exhibition work which is typified by her innovative and adventurous melding of glass and metal along with the signature element of repetition. These elements are carried through to her elegant range of production jewellery.
